News

So when reporting the news, just what are "the facts"? At a gay rights parade or abortion rally is evil just as much a fact as the color of the chief organizers shirt? thoughts?

In other news, notice the new blog counter at the bottom of the page. Important numbers will be rewarded.

is 617 an important number? and based on what I heard from Jen about the lecture you all had with the reporter, I side with him. So I think that as far as news goes, there can't be prejudice or taking sides - you have to just state what happened. If you want to take sides, become a politician. :)

We talked about this already. Alot. And, like I said before, I'm not saying there is some kind of neutrality, but that doesn't mean we have to say everything we're thinking. This is a lesson we could learn in everyday life too. And I think, as a Christian reporting in the news, and including all the stuff we talked about on how you get at real change, not saying everything you're thinking might be that much more of a virtue here.
